Pod2g a well known iDevices Hacker, now announced via tweet that he has successfully done untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1. If we recall there were three different hackers who demonstrated the iPhone 4 Jailbreak on iOS 5.1, named as I0n1c, the iPhone Dev-Team, and Chpwn/Phoenixdev.
But among three, the only successful Untethered Jailbreak was done by I0n1c, but he made that clear to jailbreak fans that this Untethered Jailbreak will not be released public. That was a setback for many of us!
Now thankfully pod2g has clearly announced that he has successfully done Untethered jailbreak. [Tweeted below],

No doubt this is really an important step towards Untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.1, been made public. Yesterday I shared with you all about the pod2g discovering two new vulnerabilities, 1 kernal land and 1 root land. It seems that pod2g is not sticking to his current achievement of untethered jailbreak, he is think future of jailbreak.
