Pod2g, Chronic Dev Team Leader has just released a video which confirms that he is successful in Jailbreaking the Apple latest iOS 5.1.1 firmware on the latest Apple A5X chip. Remember folks this is untethered jailbreak.

WOW! Pod2g has really compromise iOS 5.1.1 on the Apple latest iPad 3 having A5X chip spec. and now all the previous Apple devices are now jailbreakable. We all really want that pod2g should release the jailbreak now, but I guess there is some confusion in pod2g mind that whether he should release this Untethered Jailbreak now of should he wait for Apple to release the iOS 6.

Don’t you get it! It’s simple if pod2g release the Jailbreak now, Apple will be on it and patch up the jailbreak element in iOS 6, which I’m most of us don’t want to be happen right. But possibilities are there that Apple might patch up most of the Jailbreak vulnerabilities without even pod2g releasing jailbreak now. Well, we can say that it could all mix with sand, who knows?

 Looking around few other hackers have their own exploits but we are not sure that may or may not pave the way of jailbreaking the coming iOS 6.

If you remember in the start of this month pod2g ended a poll which favors the release of his jailbreak for iOS 5.1. But Apple on the other hand released the iOS 5.1.1 with no fixes of the bugs exploit at all, which facilitate the hacker to develop the jailbreak.

I guess iOS 6 is not that far away from release, and there is still a possibility that Apple won’t put out iOS 5.1.2 having important bug fixed or with few new features for users to update, and to forget the pod2g’s jailbreak.

Well this year’s WWDC, Apple is more likely to release OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and few new MacBooks.
