I guess there is no limit to What Siri can’t do. There is a new discovery in tech world involving Siri App from Apple in new iPhone 4S. Few days back there was a proxy server created by a Hacker name Plamoni which was user to control non Apple devices.

Well fans there is another discovery today, made by a hacker named Brandon, who use Siri App as remote to his Viper car, which allows him to control his car using voice commands like start, stop, lock and unlock.

Heres what Brandon explained how this all works,

“The “Siri Proxy” plugin I wrote handles interaction with a php script that runs on my web server. The php script, which I developed months ago for personal use, allows me to send commands to my car which has a Viper SmartStart module installed.

Current commands accepted are: “Vehicle Arm”, “Vehicle Disarm”, “Vehicle Start”, “Vehicle Stop”, “Vehicle Pop Trunk”, and “Vehicle Panic”.“

Bottom line is these all new discoveries about Siri are just great, but for must of us it will be greater when we hear that Apple has ported Siri App to older iOS veriosn devices and also make it public soon.
