It appears that Google has decided to update the interface of it’s mobile search page for iOS today.  

This new layout brings with it some eye catching changes that create more ease and simplicity in their use.  The most noticeable change is the new task bar located at the top of the page that has large icons which add for ease of use.

These new features should make it easier for users to find information that they are searching for on their iOS devices.
